The Heavenly Bodies

This couture collection is inspired by the Met Costume Institute's spring 2018 exhibition, “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination”. This theme is chosen to express my fascination with the exhibition as well as my awe of the interplay of fashion and religion. Strolling through the display, I immediately felt smaller, almost engulfed by the extravagant atmosphere. The show left me wondering about what I can do playing a round with aesthetics with religious elements.
