OMG, my anxiety is so bad!

Anxiety is a common feeling. From isolation to feel consumed by the world, it manifests through a variety of different ways. You don’t necessarily have to label yourself as having an illness. But the lingering feeling, even on a good day, sure is extremely distracting. If you’re stuck at home, especially during a time like right now, what are some ways to alleviate anxiety and get back on track? Here are some tips that I gathered throughout the years that might help!
Wrap yourself in a blanket
Embrace yourself
Journal down your feelings
Meditate
Eat intuitively
Develop a hobby that you LOVE and use it to distract yourself in the midst of an anxiety
Set a timer (15-20 min)
Anxiety is just body chemistry! Practice compassion with yourself. Accept and normalize the feeling. You are not incapable nor unintelligent because of it. You are perfect the way you are.
