during quarantine, i learned the importance of social detox

What is social detox? In my opinion, it is when you get away from the toxic people and things around you. And quarantine is the best time for this. Take some time for yourself instead of worrying about other people’s matters. This will significantly improve the quality of your life. When you butt into your friends’ beef, not only will you get blamed at one point, you are also draining your physical energy and mental energy. When you get swallowed up inside the false reality of someone else’s life, remind yourself that you don’t have the time for that! Go out in nature. Do a self care routine. Learn something new. Get down on a yoga mat and do some easy ab exercises. Start checking off your bucket list. As soon as you begin the process, your body will slowly transition into a gratification state. It will then do the job for you. You will start to see small changes like your skin getting clearer, your tummy less bloated, and your body more toned. You will thank yourself later for all these, but first, detox yourself socially.

Here are some things that I did.

apply for a remote internship base on passion

listen to audible while taking a walk

create a personal workout routine 

learn a new subject 

bake food for the fam

do face masks everyday 

facetime relatives and GOOD friends

plan out summer 2020 

journal 



There are so many good ideas. Just start with some basics and enjoy all the benefits.
