the loser checklist

Being poor doesn’t make you a loser. Not having enough Instagram followers doesn’t make you a loser. Not keeping up with the latest trend doesn’t make you one either. Nor does being out of shape, watching Netflix, playing video games, smoking, getting drunk, or any number of vices a loser typically engages in.
Then what does?
Here’s a checklist. Determine for yourself.
- Lash out at the slightest trigger
When you’re flying into a rage over the smallest problems, you are letting your enemy win. What hurts them the most is actually silence. When someone tries to set you off, they want you to respond. That’s their fuel. Your enemy’s shame of being ignored and the feeling of insignificance will ultimately become your best revenge.
- Doesn’t dare to change or try out new things
Losers are fundamentally coming from a place of fear. The fear manifests itself when you reject making changes to your old lifestyle. You don’t want to fail and prefer to sit back and let the chips fall where they may.
- Show no gratitude for anyone or anything
Feeling no gratitude can lead you to endless misery. Focus on what you do have instead of worrying about what you don’t. The more you dwell on the things absent from your life, the longer the time you waste. Gratitude can save you a whole lot of time and effort to work on bettering yourself.
- Doesn’t take responsibility
Nothing is ever your fault. There is always a scapegoat to blame on. You don’t want to be put in a vulnerable position because of shame and fear.
- Pessimistically anticipate the future
You are missing out on living in the moment. You expect potential problems right after something good has happened. It is not healthy to always jump to the worst possible conclusion every time.
