I saw this artwork by CB Hoyo the other day. People need to relax sometimes and stop taking matters seriously. They need to learn how to take a joke and laugh at themselves.

Elbert Hubbard once said: "Do not take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive." The extra stress we added to ourselves will only contribute to major anxieties and insecurities. In order to take care of our own feelings, we will be less likely to problem-solve efficiently and quickly. As humans, we all tend to blow problems out of proportion. We are sensitive beings after all. When matters are not as important as they seem, it's better to brush them off and move on in order to not get sucked into the negativity and insecurities at hand. On a different note, it is also likely to misjudge other people's reactions if you are too serious about everything. A serious attitude makes it difficult to connect better with others. When you stop taking everything so seriously, you make more genuine connections that can have a positive influence on your life.

A relaxed personality is not an indication that you are irresponsible. Rather, it manifests your maturity and leadership. The true leaders are never pretentious. They laugh at the mistakes they make. They wear plain clothes from affordable brands. THEY DON"T CHASE CLOUT. Those leaders know that they don't have to get approval from irrelevant people. Self-consciousness brings the worst out of people and leads to misery. Who cares if you are wearing different colored socks? Who cares if you didn't wash your hair for days? Who are if your shirt doesn't match your pants? Only you do. Not being self-conscious is the essence of not taking things seriously. The essence of a merrier life.

The last thing that I want to say is, quoting from CB, "Life is too short. Do whatever the fuck you want."
