“You’re not depressed. You’re just overthinking it.”
I’ve heard this so many times. Overthinking what? My own mind? Sorry, but I think I’m the best judge at that.

For many people who are dealing with depression, it’s already hard for them to recognize the feeling, let alone to have other people taking it seriously.

For those having cancer, optimism is courage.

For those having disabilities, living is perseverance.

For those having mental illness, “Just think positivity” or  “Get over it” is all we got.

I saw a quote earlier today. It’s pretty darn true. “After faking it for so long, the mask starts to grow on their face.”

Depression is like a spiritual flu. Only they will understand the feeling and sentiment.

(positivity starts from here, I promise)

When your loved ones are going through hardship, don’t try to comfort them with “I know what you’re going through.” Because you don’t. Instead of telling them to have courage, sit with them together in silence. Company will make them feel better.

And for those who are facing obstacles, if tears are already streaming through your beautiful eyes, cease the pseudo-smiles. The world is not perfect, so be good to yourself.
